The Story:
In 1926, Fun Land opened its doors, but after 75 years of success, the business began to falter. In 2001, the board hired the eccentric Mr. Giggles to revitalize the store with new products. His ambitious project, dubbed "Super, Crazy Amazing Fun Land," was filled with innovative toys, games, and puzzles, but unfortunately, many of these creations were flawed, leading to the store's bankruptcy and closure. In 2017, Mr. Giggles became enraged when he learned of the store's impending demolition. To prevent its destruction, he strategically hid clues throughout the building, hoping that someone would solve them and save Super, Crazy Amazing Fun Land. Seven years later, Mr. Giggles presented a challenging puzzle hunt to the people of Springfield. He warned that if they failed to solve the puzzles before time ran out, Super, Crazy Amazing Fun Land would be leveled to the ground, trapping them within.
About ESCAPED
How did it start?
HOW DID IT START
"I launched the Springfield Escape Room in 2023, inspired by the incredible community involvement in our neighborhood's Halloween decorations. As my birthday falls on Halloween, I knew I needed something truly unique and challenging to stand out. That's where the escape room concept was born.
After extensive research and planning, I decided to start this venture with one of my favorite horror movie franchises: SAW. The iconic bathroom scene from the first SAW film provided the inspiration for my 2023 theme: Murder Bathroom. I aimed to create an experience that was as disgusting, immersive, and realistic as possible."
